Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel today, Saturday, March 9, unveiled two schemes, the Namo Lakshmi Yojana and Namo Saraswati Vigyan Sadhana Yojana, with a combined investment of Rs 1,500 crore, stated a report by PTI.

The announcement was made at a ceremony held at Gyanda Girls High School in Ahmedabad, highlighting the state's commitment to enhancing secondary and higher secondary education.

વિજ્ઞાન પ્રવાહના અભ્યાસક્રમોમાં શિક્ષણને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા માટે નમો સરસ્વતી યોજનાની જાહેરાત કરતા તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું કે ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શાળાઓના વિજ્ઞાન પ્રવાહમાં અભ્યાસ કરતા ગરીબ અને મધ્યમ વર્ગના પાત્રતા ધરાવતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ધોરણ-11માં રૂ 10 હજાર અને ધોરણ 12 માં રૂ 15 હજાર મળી કુલ 25 હજારની સહાય આપવામાં આવશે.

 નમો લક્ષ્મી યોજનાનો હેતુ

 નમો લક્ષ્મી યોજના હેઠળ રાજ્યની દીકરીઓને લાભ આપવામાં આવશે. આ યોજના હેઠળ કિશોરી પોષણ, આરોગ્ય અને શિક્ષણને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા માટે બહાર પાડેલ છે. આ યોજના હેઠળ દીકરીઓના શિક્ષણને વધુમાં વધુ પ્રોત્સાહન આપવાનો હેતુ છે.

નમો લક્ષ્મી યોજનાનો લાભ કોને મળશે?

ગુજરાતના નાણાં મંત્રી કનુ દેસાઇએ બજેટ ભાષણમાં નમો લક્ષ્મી યોજનાની ઘોષણા કરી છે. નમો લક્ષ્મી યોજના સરકારી અને બિન સરકારી ગ્રાન્ટેડ માધ્યમિક અને ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શાળાઓની વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓ માટે છે. આ યોજના માટે બજેટમાં 1250 કરોડની જોગવાઇ કરવામાં આવી છે.

નમો સસ્વતી યોજનાનો લાભ કોને મળશે?

ગુજરાત બજેટ 2024-25માં નમો સરસ્વતી યોજનાની ઘોષણા કરવામાં આવી છે. આ યોજના માટે બજેટમાં 250 કરોડ રૂપિયાની ફાળવણી કરવામાં આવી છે. આ યોજનાનો હેતુ લાભ રાજ્યની ધોરણ 11 અને 12ના વિજ્ઞાન પ્રવાહમાં અભ્યાસ કરવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને પ્રોત્સાહિત કરવાનો છે.

What is Namo Lakshmi Yojana?

The Namo Lakshmi Yojana, with an allocation of Rs 1250 crore in the 2024-25 State Budget, is designed to support girls pursuing secondary and higher secondary education.

It offers Rs 50,000 in financial aid to each girl completing her education from Class IX to XII, targeting about 10 lakh beneficiaries across government, aided and private schools. The initiative aims to boost enrollment, curb dropout rates and foster empowerment through education and nutrition.

Namo Laxmi Yojana કેટલી સહાય મળશે?

    આ યોજના હેઠળ અલગ અલગ ધોરણના વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓને અલગ-અલગ સહાય આપવામાં આવશે. જે નીચે મુજબ છે.

What is Namo Saraswati Vigyan Sadhana Yojana?

The state is also promoting Science education among Classes XI-XII students with the Namo Saraswati Vigyan Sadhana Yojana.

Starting from the academic year 2024-25, the scheme will support students who scored over 50 per cent in their Class X Board exams, facilitating their admission into Science streams across state government, aided, and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)-recognised schools.

Namo Lakshmi Yojana 2024- Eligibility Criteria:

• Only female students from class 9th to 12th will get the scholarship amount.

• Applicant must be a citizen of Gujarat.

• In Gujarat state, the candidate must be enrolled in any government-run or government-aided school.

• The candidate age must be between 13 to 18 years old

• The applicant must belong to a financially unstable family.
