Staff Nurses Recruitment 2024: Recruitment 1903 Posts in Staff Nurse
The Gujarat government has announced recruitment of 1,903 staff nurses across various state-run health facilities. These nurses will be appointed through direct recruitment for positions at state community health centres and government hospitals.
The online application process for these positions will begin after October 5. Eligible candidates will be required to submit their applications via the Online Job Application System (OJAS) platform.

A competitive examination will be conducted for qualified applicants, and based on the results, a selection list will be published.
Following this, document verification will take place. Once the verification is complete, the final merit list will be released, and the selected candidates will be appointed.
The entire recruitment procedure is expected to be completed within 6 to 8 months.
Education Qualification
- Diploma in Nursing (GNM) or B.Sc. A nursing degree is a must.
Age Limit
- Candidate's age should not be less than 20 years and not more than 40 years as on last date of application-03/11/2024.
- The upper age limit for all reserved category candidates should not exceed 45 years on the due date under any circumstances with relaxation.
- Application fee for candidates selecting "General" category. Rs. 300/- post office charge (Rs. 300 + charge in case of online fee payment) has to be paid and online
- payment option is also available. Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes.
- For economically weaker section, disabled and ex-serviceman candidates, fee/charge will not have to be paid as per the existing rules of Govt.
