 The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the SBI Clerk Notification 2024 to hire Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales). They have offered 13,735 vacancies in different states and regions. This is a great chance for anyone who is looking to get a secure and well-paying government job in the banking sector.

Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State/UT only. Candidates can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project. The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State/ UT, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State/UT.

Eligibility Criteria for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024

If you want to apply for the SBI Clerk post, you need to have these basic requirements:

1. Educational Qualification

You must have a graduation degree from a recognized university in any subject.

Even if you’re in your final year of graduation, you can still apply. But you must show proof of passing the degree before 31st December 2024.

2. Age Limit (as of 1st April 2024)

Minimum Age: You must be at least 20 years.

Maximum Age: You must not be more than 28 years old.

So, your age has to be between 20 and 28 years to be eligible.

Age Relaxation (for specific categories):

SC/ST: 5 years relaxation (That means you get an extra 5 years added to the age limit)

OBC: 3 years relaxation (You get an extra 3 years added to the age limit)

PWD: 10-15 years (You get an extra 10 to 15 years depending on your category).

Important Dates

SBI Junior Associate (Clerk) Recruitment 2024 – Selection Process: 

Preliminary Examination:

Objective test for 100 marks, including English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.

Duration: 1 hour

Negative marking of 1/4th for each wrong answer.

Main Examination:

Objective test for 200 marks, including General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability with Computer Aptitude.

Duration: 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Section-wise timing applicable.

Language Proficiency Test:

Candidates must be proficient in Urdu, Ladakhi, or Bhoti (Bodhi).

Those with 10th or 12th mark sheets as proof of language proficiency are exempted.

Final Selection:

Based on marks obtained in the Main Examination and language proficiency.
