Gujarat Common Admission Services

Gujarat Common Admission Services Portal (GCAS) is a visionary portal launched by Education Department, Government of Gujarat to streamline and simplify the admission process for graduate, post-graduate, and Ph.D. programmes in various faculties across 14 Government Universities and its affiliated institutions/colleges. Students will be able to register for admission across Arts, Commerce, Science, Education, Law, Rural Studies, Physical Education, B.Ed., and Ph.D. programs through GCAS Portal only.

How to Apply through GCAS?

1. Registration:

Visit the official GCAS portal: https://gcas.gujgov.edu.in/
Register with your mobile number and email address.
Upon registration, you’ll receive a username and password via email and SMS.

2. Application Filling:

Login to the portal using your credentials.
Select the desired program level (UG or PG).
Choose your preferred universities and colleges based on program availability.
Fill out the application form carefully, providing accurate academic details.
Upload scanned copies of required documents (mark sheets, certificates, etc.).
Pay the online application fee.
Submit the application before the deadline

Selection Process

Universities and colleges will shortlist candidates based on eligibility criteria and merit (entrance exams, previous academic performance, etc.).

Merit lists will be published on the GCAS portal.

Selected candidates will receive communication from their chosen universities for document verification and fee payment.
